FAITH

But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him.
Hebrews 11:6 AMP

Choosing to serve God requires Faith. It takes looking beyond science, and understanding that A Being superior to you has made all these happen. 

How easy it is to believe in A God we can't see, but we find it difficult to believe in His promises. 
Just because things are not happening according to your own timetable doesn't mean His Promises are not real.
His Promises are as real as He Is.

He rewards those who diligently seek Him, and those who never stop believing.
