One way not to conform to the world is to be filled by God. 

Constantly dwell in the presence of God, fully immerse yourself into Christ, focus on your spiritual growth, then you will gradually weaken your  selfish desires and eventually die to self.


Put on the full armour of God, and clothe yourself with His Presence.
