The weapons of our warfare are not physical [weapons of flesh and blood]. Our weapons are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ,

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 AMP


Satan understands the power of the mind, hence, he focuses on attacking our thinking to get to us. Which is why The Bible encourages us to guard our heart diligently. 

The truth of God's Word is our choice of weapon. Hebrews says The Word is quick, powerful and sharp, it pierces the soul, and discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.


In Christ, you have the ability to cast down men's high-minded murmuring against God.

You put down every imagination of man that exalts itself against the truth of The Word of God. 

In Christ, you have the power to bring down every fallacy that tries to stand again The Word of God over your life.  In Him, you take every contrary thoughts to His Will captive, and bring them under obedience to Him.


The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, rather, it is submission to The Word of God, and fervent prayer.
