Go To God!!

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.

James 4:8 NLT


Don't believe the lie that you need to be sin-free before you go close to God.

You need to take the first step of going close to God, then He will move close to you, so He can cleanse you of your sin and purify your heart.


You cannot do away with sin when you are far from God, you cannot cleanse yourself by yourself. You need God to do the cleansing. Also, God will not force Himself on you. He knows your shortcomings, your willingness to be better and do better is all He needs, then He will do the rest. 


You can never be whole without God, so stop trying to be whole before going to Him. He loves and wants you just the way you are. However, when you go to Him, He doesn't want you to remain the way you came, He wants to transform you into a better You. So, allow Him purify, prune, and remould you.


Come close to God, then He will come close to you.
