Humility

When pride comes [boiling up with an arrogant attitude of self-importance], then come dishonor and shame, But with the humble [the teachable who have been chiseled by trial and who have learned to walk humbly with God] there is wisdom and soundness of mind.
PROVERBS 11:2 AMP

Pride brings shame and destruction. Pride will lead you to make costly mistakes but being humble will help you see clearly as you are not full of self, but utilize godly counsel. 

Pride blinds you to the truth and causes you to make foolish choices; but humility helps you to see right and wrong, truth and error, wisdom and folly, and causes you to make wise choices.

Get rid of all pride as it limits your greatness.
