Let God Lead

A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

Proverbs 16:9 KJV


Some people take this verse to mean they don't need to plan for the future, that they can just go through the motions of life.. TPT versions breaks this verse down, "Within your heart you can make plans for your future, but the Lord chooses the steps you take to get there". This shows that you need to make plans for your life.


You need to step out and plan your life, work towards that plan and trust God to order your footsteps and back up your efforts with result.

Step out in faith, plan, trust God and live triumphantly.

  This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed.
