Fiercely Loved

  Instead of your [former] shame you will have a double portion; And instead of humiliation your people will shout for joy over their portion. No more stagnation or delay. This is your season of restoration.  God will give you double for every trouble you have ever encountered.  God will silence every raging storm in your life. He will give you perfect peace.  God will be your defence and defender in your coming in and in your going out.  May you possess your possession in the land. Focusing on others or things may bring about disappointment, and this may make you feel like you are failing in life. But when you put your delight in God, He fills you with divine peace, everlasting happiness, and eternal joy.   But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly! Romans 5:8 TPT Christ died for us while we were yet sinners. The MSG version says God put His love on the line for us while we were of no use to Him. The Bible didn't say Christ died for us when we became religious, neither did it say Christ died for us when we stopped sinning and became righteous.  The Gospel is not the message of condemnation, but of love. So it is wrong to preach it to others by condemning them and focusing only on their sins. If Christ who actually sacrificed His life for us all wants them to feel loved, why should you a recipient of that love choose to condemn others. Jesus wants people to live in relationship with Him, and that relationship will bring about the necessary change.  Instead of focusing on condemnation, help others  experience God's love, lead them on a path of relationship with Him, so that The Holy Spirit can do the rest. Psalms 48:14 TPT Once, I was trying to assemble a toy for my nephews, the toy came with a guide to help with the assembly. As an engineer, I felt I knew what to do and could do it without the guide. It didn't take long for me to realise that just because a piece looks like it should be somewhere means that was where the manufacturer intended it to be. With the guide, I was able to assemble it faster, and just the way the manufacturer intended. Sometimes, we feel that we have become masters at a lot of things, and we really don't need God's guide again, after all we have been doing this "being a Christian business" for ages. Even Jesus did only what the Father led Him to do. So never assume at anytime that you are too "well versed" for God to direct you.   When someone curses you, bless that person in return. When you are mistreated and harassed by others, accept it as your mission to pray for them. Luke 6:28 TPT God wants you to forgive those who hurt you. Beyond forgiveness, He wants you to pray for them. He wants you to invoke God's blessings upon them and ask for their happiness. He wants you to ask for mercy on their behalf even though they are undeserving of it. Forgiving others brings healing to you, praying for them takes God's truth to them so they can repent and experience real freedom in Christ. He would throw challenges your way to try to get you to neglect your time with God. Regardless of what you are going through, God wants you to focus on Him, He wants you to stay faithful and be in close fellowship and communion with Him. He wants you to make Him a priority because you are His priority.  Allow The Holy Spirit lead you, set aside all of the distractions of life and intentionally focus on God.  When you look unto God with your whole heart, you will find Him.   For if you embrace the truth, it will release true freedom into your lives.” John 8:32 TPT Some version of The Bible say "you shall know the truth", TPT says "you shall embrace the truth", and MSG says "you shall experience the truth".  First, whose truth do you know? Do you know the truth of God, or the truth of fellow humans. It is somebody's truth does not mean it is universal. It is widely accepted does not mean it is sanctioned by God. It is what happens in your family even before you parents were born, does not mean it is what God wants to happen. You need to know God's truth for your life, one way to know this is by studying His manual for your life (The Bible). Communicate with God, talk to Him, ask Him what He wants for your life.   For as he thinks within himself, so is he.... Proverbs 23:7 TPT The first step to change from being a negative thinker to a positive thinker is to first acknowledge that you think negatively. Once you are able to pay attention to your train of thoughts, and acknowledge that there is a lot of negativity in it, and that you WANT a change, you can then focus on the change. Your thoughts are so powerful that you become what you think. You cannot afford to be a lower version of who God created you to be. Talk to God about renewing your mind and your thoughts. Don't allow past hurts or experiences affect how you see life or think about it, ask The Almighty to help you see things from His lenses.  Don't be so used to disappointment that you even expect you to disappoint yourself.  Expect that which is good in people.  Expect good things to happen to you, after all, God promised that things will work together for your good, so even in the bleakest of moment, never lose hope in God.   Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. James 1:27 NLT I find it interesting that the above verse did not first mention refusing to be corrupted as true and pure religion, rather, it mentioned helping those in need first. This solidifies what Apostle Paul said about how if you speak in tongues, and do a lot of things that are perceived as spiritual, but you have no love in your heart for others, then it's all for nothing. One of the laws God repeated in the Old Testament is to help those in need. Despite His special love for the Isrealites, He specifically told them not to maltreat foreigners (who are mostly slaves) that are in need. This goes to show how important helping others  (especially those in need) is to God.   There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth: Ecclesiastes 3:1 MSG We mainly quote this passage to back the fact that God has appointed a time for different events in our life.  So, if God appointed a time for things to happen, shouldn't that also mean we need to utilize our time. Time waits for no man, you really don't know the time you will die, so what are you doing with the time you have before that inevitable event? Time is a gift from God, hence, you would account for its usage. The best way to spend your time is to allow God lead you in the spending.  Conform to what God wants to do in your life, that way you get to utilize the time He has given you, and also experience His goodness.  Stop wasting your time by struggling with God's leading, He knows best and He is always on time, so trust Him.
