Grow Deep Roots!

Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness.

Colossians 2:7 NLT


Becoming a new creature in Christ requires you letting go of the old creature. It requires you putting some work into shedding the old man. This is not a work you do on your own, but you need to give The Holy Spirit free flow into your life and into your transformation.

You need to build yourself up in Christ, so you can transplant from the root of sin and death, into the root of righteousness and life. 


Being rooted in Christ is not a one off thing, it's a continuous process, a way of life, so that you become more set in Him till   His root becomes yours, so you can live out the life He has purposed for you. Then, you can bear fruit for others to see and partake of. 


Let your spiritual roots go deep in Christ, and He will infuse you with strength, and establish you in faith. He will cause your life to overflow with thanksgiving.
